Ingredients:

  • 3 c. Rolled Oats
  • 1 c. Almonds, whole chopped or slivered
  • 1 c. Cashews, chopped or whole
  • 1 c. Shredded sweet coconut
  • 1 tsp. Kosher Salt 
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 stick of Butter
  • 1/3 c. Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Raisins
  • 3 tbsp. flax seeds
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Prep time: 10 min
  2. Cook Time: 25 min
  3. Serves:  6 Servings
  4. Preheat oven to 350.
  5. In a large bowl, toss together oats, nuts, coconuty, flax seed, salt and cinnamon.
  6. Melt butter in saucepan with agave nectar/honey and brown sugar.  Until sugar is dissolved.  Add the vanilla.
  7. Pour the sugar mixture on top of the dry ingredients.  Tossing to coat well. 
  8. Spread onto a parchment covered baking sheet- leaving a few clumps for texture.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  10. Toss around on the pan and then add to the oven for another 15 minutes. 
  11. Allow to cool. 
  12. Once cooled, toss in the raisins.  Add Apricots, Dates, Banana Chips...and sneak in some chocolate chips too!
